A survivor of both Auburn University’s Fine Art school and White Wolf’s production intern program, Talon was the chief illustrator for the Ravenloft 3rd Edition Roleplaying Game and a regular in other Sword & Sorcery Studios projects as well as Mage The Awakening. He's also done work for West End Games (D6, Star Wars, TORG Revised), Wizards of the Coast (Legend of the 5 Rings CCG, Star Wars RPG website), Kenzer & Co. (Kingdoms of Kalamar, Knights of the Dinner Table), Green Ronin (Mutants & Masterminds) as well as a host of other small-press RPG companies. And yes, that IS his real name.

I learned today that, although I passed jury, I have been denied both a table and gallery space at Dragon*Con this year, due to lack of space (meaning I scored high enough on their scoring system to pass, but not high enough to actually merit a place in the show).  So, unless some other option magically appears, I won't be appearing at Dragon*Con, despite the fact that it's in my home town.  I apologize to any fans who might have been looking to meet me there or get a con sketch.  It is, unfortunately, out of my hands.

Here are the only two shows at which I'll be appearing as of right now:

Origins Game Fair June 12-16, Columbus, OH  www.originsgamefair.com
GenCon Indy Aug 15-18, Indianapolis, IN  www.gencon.com

If any other shows are added to the list, I'll let you know.  I will be doing con sketches at both shows and will have new prints and a new sketchbook available for sale.  I hope to see you there!

Sorry, I just don't have the time. What little time I do have to draw my own stuff, I don't want to fill with yet more work. If you want a commissions from me, you'll need to catch me at a convention. I regularly appear at Origins, GenCon and Dragon*Con.

Wow thanks! :thanks: I try to not do the over-the-top thing.
I want my character designs to feel like the basic drawings a kid does of their hero. Like the stuff I would see scrawled on lined paper at the desk next to me in math class or in the dingy basement to the smell of Funyuns © and the sound of multi-sided dice being rolled. I just execute it in a more complex way. And when I cant do that I just draw a well formed woman in an impractical outfit wielding a medieval weapon. That always seems to work. :shrug:

Well, your design work is awesome, and I appreciate your clean linework as well. I only see one or two color pieces in your gallery, and they seem a bit rough. Do you do finished colors? Also, what's your take on nudity/tasteful eroticism?
